星爺早年賀歲喜劇，也不算初露鋒芒，畢竟在賭圣之后，不過無厘頭的地方真的很無厘頭，甚至有些尷尬。很多笑點都在后來被反復使用，比如元華，小強，葉子楣，李小龍，尤其是李小龍！其實最后那球白球先碰到了黑球，算是違規了。結尾看到星爺等人笑著給觀眾拜年真的是很驚喜！這樣的星爺是再也看不到了。
